Job Overview

What is expected of you?

  • Provide Level 2 technical support for the company
  • Set up standard networking infrastructure, WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, core switches, access switches and information security measures
  • Implement and maintain a new virtualized IT infrastructure as well as the Cloud services on Microsoft Azure;
  • Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities on the company network, servers, and devices
  • Oversee and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports
  • Support in the design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures and other tests, including end-user reviews
  • Coordinate the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system
  • Guide and assign tasks to IT systems administrators

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • A level 6 qualification in Computer Science or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar field
  • Fluency in both the English language
  • Experience in deploying and managing next generation firewalls, core switches and access switches
  • Proven experience in assisting in the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products, systems planning, security principles, and general software management
  • Working experience with Office 365 migrations, Azure platform (SQL Services and applications), Microsoft Office 365, Azure Security (O365 ATP, Azure ATP, MFA, Conditional Access, Azure AD)
  • Proficient in Microsoft related technologies (Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft)
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience with ITIL based help desk software
  • Working experience in the financial sector will be considered an asset
