Job Overview

Our client is a fast-growing international company in the Marine and Aviation industry, offering comprehensive accounting and financial services to a diverse portfolio of clients. They are seeking a motivated and energetic Junior Accounts Executive to join their dynamic accounting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Update accounting records and prepare management accounts for international holding and trading entities.
  • Prepare and submit Income Tax Returns and VAT Returns.
  • Maintain the books of account for international clients up to the Trial Balance stage.
  • Collaborate with external auditors in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and handle complex accounting matters.
  • Review Financial Statements and act as a point of contact for clients, shareholders, advisors, and interested parties.
  • Attend clients’ board meetings as required.
  • Work closely with the Manager, Accounts, and the accounting team to support accounting operations and meet targets.
  • Ensure quality client services and compliance with regulatory requirements in collaboration with the Manager, Accounts.
  • Stay informed about accounting standards, VAT, Income Tax, Accounting Standards, and other relevant laws for regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of local experience in an Accounting environment.
  • Hold at least 5 ACCA qualifications, preferably including ACCA F6 (Taxation).
  • Strong professional communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to think outside the box.
