Our IT Operations team supports multiple business critical systems in diversified environment. We are looking for an experienced IT professional who can drive our DevOps endeavours. We offer a dynamic and exciting workplace in return, where employee growth and development are encouraged.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrating workloads across multiple in-house platforms and cloud providers
  • Automating tasks where possible by means of scripting and/or configuration/deployment management systems
  • Monitoring managed systems including application and database services, using alerts and log management tools; taking corrective actions as required
  • Developing tooling and processes to drive and improve customer experience; maintaining relevant documentation
  • Resolving support cases related to IT Ops & DevOps, escalating to other teams and service providers where needed
  • Supporting major projects in the IT Operations team directed towards both new IT Ops and DevOps implementations

Job Requirements: 

  • Proven track record of IT and DevOps knowledge, supported by relevant qualifications and experience
  • Experience with managing Cloud environment services (Azure, Google, AWS), containerisation and orchestration
  • Experience with automation and configuration management using Google Deployment Manager, Terraform, Ansible or similar tools,
  • Experience with one or more programming languages is a must (Bash, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, Java and so on), proficiency with git and git workflows is also desirable
  • Experience with monitoring applications such as Zabbix and Grafana
  • Solid understanding of server systems through Vmware and Cloud environments, virtualization tools and preferably database technologies such as SQL is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, a positive customer-centric attitude and a high level of ownership are expected
  • Ability to work on own initiative and meet targets with little supervision
