What is expected of you?
- Create and coordinate the development of employee engagement programs
- Coordinate the employee engagement surveys
- Propose and coordinate CSR events
- Suggest, coordinate and plan company staff events
- Manage internal communication channels to ensure effective workplace communication
- Create content and manage the Company career website blog
- Manage, create, and communicate the employee newsletter
- Assist in the administration of the Employee Recognition Program, including anniversaries, birthdays, etc
- Monitor the effectiveness of employee benefits and make recommendations
- Assist in the development and execution of training and development materials
- Manage applications for external funding of courses
- Liaise with Head of Departments to understand and compile Company training needs
- Coordinate training, both external and internal
- Work closely with Department managers to create strategic career plans for star employees
- Assist with other HR duties, as required
What are you expected to bring?
- A degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years work experience in an HR-related role
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Excellent computer literacy with knowledge of MS office and ideally, HRMS software
- Good knowledge of HR functions and practices
- An understanding of labour law will be considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A great team player
- Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail
- A can-do attitude with the confidence and ability to work independently
- A flexible attitude towards work and is willing to multitask
