Job Overview

Do you have a passion for ensuring the smooth running of a facility so that all employees are performing at their best? A large food manufacturing organization is seeking a General Hand. If you have skills and abilities in a wide range of trades, Ceek would love to hear from you.

 

What is expected of you?

  • Repairs, maintenance and minor works on grounds and buildings on premises
  • Use of various hand tools and small power tools
  • Directing labourers and /or skilled labourers working with him / her
  • Driving a light vehicle when and as necessary
  • Assisting in the loading/unloading and shifting of furniture or similar items
  • Working underground, in chambers, pits and at heights
  • Any other related duties as directed by the Engineering & Maintenance Manager or his representative

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Teamwork
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to work underground, in chambers, pits and at heights
  • Fluent in both Maltese and English Language
  • General Education (MQF Level 1) or a School Leaving Certificate
  • Passes in both literacy and numeracy proficiency examinations
  • Experience in a similar role for a minimum period of three years
