Job Overview

Our client is a leading company in the food industry, and they are seeking a dynamic and proactive Export Assistant to join their team in Gozo. The Export Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Sales Export Coordinator in the daily operations of the Exports Department. The candidate will liaise with different internal departments, customers, and suppliers to ensure that all export orders are processed efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing sales export orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicating with internal departments, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
  • Filling the relative documents, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
  • Assisting the Sales Export Coordinator with daily tasks as required
  • Travelling abroad to participate in food fairs and other international events
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and product developments
  • Providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in Maltese and English, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ambitious, Team Player and Curious with a proactive approach to work
  • Willingness to travel abroad for international fairs and events
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
