Job Overview

A reputable company within the financial services industry is seeking to recruit a Cybersecurity Officer to join their professional team. If you are goal-oriented and passionate about ICT, we at Ceek would like to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

  • Lead the team of cyber security officers
  • Manage to formulate and maintain system security plans, information security policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Review and analyse the systems, security architectures and recommend information security solutions;
  • Perform assessment and security compliance checks
  • Evaluate the security events and logs via sophisticated cyber security and event management tools
  • Ensure that network defence, identification, authentication, access control and data protection mechanisms are adhere to security best practices
  • Participate in security risk assessments and make recommendations for mitigations and countermeasures to address risks, vulnerabilities, and threats
  • Cooperate in the development of IT disaster recovery plans and provide support for business continuity
  • Provide information,security training, awareness, and ongoing guidance to users

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • A solid academic background in ICT
  • A post graduate certification in the industry will be considered an asset
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in technology
  • 3 years’ experience in Cyber Security would be an asset
  • Motivated to learn new technologies
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently
