Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join us as the Country Manager for Brazil. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in our journey towards success in South America. As the Country Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a comprehensive country strategy, positioning, and growth plan in the assigned region. Your objective will be to align these efforts with the company’s overall goals. This will involve identifying market requirements for both current and future products, assisting with local license applications, conducting market research, and analyzing potential partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the budget, delivering revenue growth, and achieving financial targets for the country.
  • Ensure the website is optimized, competitive, and localized for the Brazilian market.
  • Structure, build, and lead a dedicated team to ensure the smooth running of local operations.
  • Follow-up and analyze business and market performance, ensuring alignment with budgets and targets.
  • Establish clear reporting and action plans to counter any underperforming results.
  • Collaborate with all department heads to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention efforts with a focus on revenue generation and growth.
  • Work closely with designers to develop creative concepts for long-term brand building and communication within the market.
  • Contribute localized campaign ideas, marketing briefs, and campaign review deliverables according to the campaign planning process.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the market, including monitoring competition and the regulatory situation.
  • Advise and guide different departments to ensure efficient operations in the market and improve ROI.
  • Maximize the utilization and monetization of all available channels.
  • Plan, set up, and manage all local infrastructure, both corporate and operational.
  • Identify, evaluate, and follow up on new opportunities and partnerships, both ongoing and after campaigns.
  • Devise budgets, business plans, market plans, and economic follow-up for the targeted markets, along with other reporting requirements.
  • Work across the full player/user journey, establishing effective continuous improvement initiatives to enhance player onboarding, experience, and yield.
  • Monitor service quality, top customers, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and request the development of new features and improvements based on your own initiatives and customer feedback.
  • Create tailor-made targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
  • Collaborate with other Country Managers to capture and optimize synergies with other markets.
  • Act as the company representative within the targeted markets when dealing with major customers, partners, and professional associations.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the iGaming industry in a similar role is a must.
  • Exceptional knowledge of the Brazilian online gaming market.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Native level of Portuguese and an excellent understanding of the local culture.
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
  • A strong team player who can bring out the best in a group.
  • Self-motivated and result-driven, with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Customer-centric, strategic, and analytical mindset, able to interpret trends.
  • Able to see the big picture while paying keen attention to detail.
  • Good network of beneficial local and industry connections.
