One of Malta’s most famous and prestigious Hotel and Spa Resorts is looking to recruit a highly-motivated and flexible Corporate Sales Coordinator, who enjoys working in a busy and changing environment. Based on-site in St Julians Bay and reporting to the Corporate Sales Manager, the successful candidate will develop and maintain strong relationships with the hotel’s corporate clients and serve as the main point of communication between key departments, whilst working closely with reservations and events teams. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Developing and maintaining strong relations with the clients of Hotel;
•Representing the Hotel & Spa, promoting the company at every opportunity and uncovering additional leads for future business opportunities;
•Answering calls professionally and dealing with client queries in a timely manner;
•Manning the office should the Sales team not be there due to meetings or appointments;
•Proactively seeking out new business opportunities for the hotel;
•Maintaining an effective filing system for the corporate sales department, including a daily trace file, to ensure all deadlines are met.
•Diploma or higher in Business Management or a related field;
•Good understanding of Opera PMS;
•Fluency in English is a must;
•Fluency in Maltese and any other foreign language would be considered an asset;
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
•Confident and out-going personality;
•Good presentation skills with a structured approach to planning;
•High level of organisation skills and dedication to meeting deadlines;
•Willingness to learn continuously;
•Dedicated team player whilst also able to work independently and under pressure.
