Job Description

We are looking for a Banking Supervision Deputy Head to join a successful firm operating within Malta’s financial sector. If you are looking to take your career to the next level, Ceek would like to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

  • Carry out supervision to ensure compliance with the Banking Act and Financial Institution Act
  • Lead the daily tasks of the teams running both the on-site section and the supervision section
  • Keep up to date with the regulatory requirements in relation the financial and credit institutions
  • Develop and improve supervisory techniques
  • Provide guidance and mentoring of the team members
  • Ensure continuous liaison with financial and credit entities
  • Handle any related queries
  • Represent the company in groups or committees as required

What are you expected to bring?

  • A qualification in Banking or Finance at Level 6 or better
  • 6 years’ plus working experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Keen eye for detail
