Job Overview

Our client, a Boutique Audit Firm based in Gozo, is seeking an experienced Auditor to join their team. The firm provides various services including Assurance Services, Accounting, Advisory, and Taxation Compliance Services. This is a dynamic role that requires an energetic individual who is motivated and able to carry out specific accounting tasks. The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain effective working relationships with client personnel, meet client and firm deadlines, and be fully accountable for Audit and Assurance engagements from beginning to end.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with client personnel and meet client and firm deadlines.
  • Fully accountable for Audit and Assurance engagements from beginning to end.
  • Prepare and review Financial Statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRS.
  • Perform other Audit and Assurance engagements.
  • Deliver a service that is of the highest quality to exceed clients’ expectations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Auditing; or a minimum of 1 year in client auditing, and other relevant experience.
  • Preferably fully certified or on the final stages of an ACCA qualification or with significant accounting experience.
  • Be flexible and able to work independently yet also be an effective team player.
  • Approach work in a methodical and organized manner, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
  • Be proactive in fulfilling his / her duties.
  • High standards of work ethics and commitment; clear communication at all levels.
  • Be a client-oriented and loyal personality with a friendly character.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role will be considered an asset.
