Job Opportunities and Duties
- Actively sell all company’s transport services on the local market;
- Generate new contacts / clients whilst keeping in regular contact with existing clients;
- Regularly liaising with principals (shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarding networks) keeping them regularly posted with local market information;
- Negotiating freight rates with principals and service providers.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the shipping and logistics industry.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills in Maltese, English and ideally Italian;
- Be organised and well prepared to work under pressure;
- Must be computer literate with Microsoft office skills;
- Good analytical skills;
- Must be a team player, self-motivated and responsible;
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude and passion for results;
- In possession of a category B driving licence.
Offerd Salary€15,000 - €20,000
