What is expected of you?
- Issue purchase orders and proposals
- Receiving products from suppliers and placing them on predetermined shelves after they have been recorded in the Stores Management system
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
- Handling of materials to technical staff members to do repairs on any asset belonging to the company
- Recording of parts issued in the Stores Management system
- Keeping track of the warranty process for new vehicle parts, as well as the proper labelling and storage of those parts that need to be claimed
- Responsible for the stock, parts, common tools and equipment to be used in any function of the department
- Always ensure effective cleaning and organization of work areas and tools, including hazardous wastes management.
- Follow company health and safety policies
- Other responsibilities as assigned or delegated by the Stores Supervisor and Stores and Procurement Manager
What are you expected to bring?
- European Driving license
- Ideally have a secondary level of education
- Preferably have working experience in a similar role
- Knowledge on mechanical parts, accessories and materials used in the Store
- Familiar with inventory principles and practices, proper methods of storekeeping, including receipts, inspections, storage and issuance of supplies
- Have good record maintenance skills using a computer and relevant software applications
- Ability to control receipts and issuing of parts, tools, and equipment
