What is expected of you?

  • Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems, consultative sales
  • Cultivate sales within the commercial and the industrial buildings
  • Meet with existing and prospective customers, assess customers’ needs, and sell technical and mechanical goods and services
  • Develop scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial call/meeting to closure of sales
  • Assist customers and stocks merchandise in the building materials and supplies department of the warehouse
  • Provide technical information and guides customers in the selection of building materials and supplies

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Initiative and eagerness to learn
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Computer literacy, preferably with ECDL
  • Can do attitude
  • Experience of sales with construction materials would be preferred but not essential.
  • Have a good technical knowledge of building materials
  • Be sales oriented and able to work on own initiative
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be a good team player
  • Previous experience in a similar position is a must
