Job Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION

SR Group is today one of Malta’s leading suppliers of construction, industrial and recycling plants and equipment with a large portfolio of products and a varied clientele. As part of our continuous expansion process, we are looking for an experienced Salesperson with a technical background to complement our team of professionals. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Sales Director.

ROLE

  • identify the parts needed for customers, make offers and follow-up;
  • Prepare offers to customers for equipment/machinery needed;
  • Develop opportunity sales with new customers;
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers;
  • Liaising with suppliers to check on progress of orders;

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must be able to interpret spare part manuals including those on online portals.  He must have knowledge on heavy machinery,  construction plant and equipment.
  • Five years experience in a similar role will be expected.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical engineering skills and qualifications will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and electric schematics would be preferred.
  • The ideal candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Must be computer literate and very familiar with the latest digital collaborative tools.
  • Must possess an international driving license.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
