Job Overview

A prominent client of ours in the manufacturing industry is seeking to recruit a Machinist to join their dynamic team. If you are keen to start a new career, speak fluent English, and have the necessary skills, this is the ideal job for you!

 

What is expected of you?

  • Responsible for the running and the up keeping of the plant and machinery
  • Ensure that the operation is in line with the quality and standard operating procedures 
  • The maintenance of machinery and other duties as may be required
  • Assisting in the troubleshooting of faults which also includes the periodic maintenance of overhauls etc.
  • Implementing tests on the products as indicated by the standard operating procedures

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese language
  • O Level certification
  • Be computer literate with a proven certificate in ECDL
  • Be knowledgeable in mechanical and/or electrical field
  • Be flexible and willing to learn new machinery according to the needs of the company
  • Willing to work on a flexible roster basis, including night shift
