Job Overview

If you have a sound understanding of Intellectual Property, Technology and Data Protection Law, as well as a warrant to practice law in Malta, this may be the perfect new opportunity for you! Our renowned client, a leading firm in Malta, is seeking to recruit a Lawyer to join their growing team.

 

What is expected of you?

  • Provide legal advisory services to the clients of the firm on aspects of civil and commercial law, mainly in the fields of intellectual property law, technology law, and data protection law
  • Manage and retain good client relationships
  • Liaise with team members under the supervision of the partners of the firm responsible for the Intellectual Property (IP) and Telecoms, Media and Technology (TMT) departments
  • Perform duties and tend to client queries as assigned or requested in support of the Company and its clients
  • Liaise with authorities and other professional services firms to support clients in their operations

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • A law degree and warrant to practice as an advocate in Malta
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A sound understanding of Intellectual Property, Technology and Data Protection Law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Maltese will be considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills and ability to perform diligently under pressure
  • Be independent, accurate and motivated
