Job Overview
Our client is an established corporate firm seeking a Junior HR Executive to join their HR department. The successful candidate will work full-time, providing support to the HR Manager in managing various HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Screen emails across the HR department’s mailboxes.
- Process employees’ requests and provide accurate information.
- Maintain timely and accurate filing of employee records in both soft and hard copy formats.
- Update all HR databases with relevant employee information.
- Keep HR policies and procedures up-to-date, under the guidance of the superior.
- Coordinate HR internal meetings and other team meetings.
- Book training sessions for employees throughout the organization.
- Assist with general administrative duties as required.
- Support accurate and timely payroll preparation by keeping payroll systems and HRIS updated.
- Assist with recruitment duties, including liaising with internal/external recruiters, updating job descriptions and vacancies, posting jobs on advertising sites, screening CVs, and managing interview processes.
- Assist with staff reviews.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Meticulous approach to work with great attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver work to exceptionally high standards and focus on the task at hand.
- Sound working knowledge of the Employment and Industrial Relations Act, Chapter 452 of the Laws of Malta.
- Understanding of the professional maturity required to work within the Human Resources function.
- Proactive approach and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access. Willingness to learn company-specific software if required.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
