Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join a growing team in a reputable firm within the corporate services sector. If you are self-motivated and can work on your own initiative, we at Ceek would love to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

  • Handle the portfolio of international clients
  • Post bank payments, journal entries, bank receipts, sales and purchase invoices
  • Work on reconciling of bank accounts
  • Oversee and prepare accounts up to trial balance level
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns, and client payrolls
  • Liaise with clients regarding accounting documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of periodical management accounts and year-end processes
  • Work on other ancillary duties which may be required

What are you expected to bring?

  • In the process of obtaining ACCA or an University Degree in Accountancy
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting
  • Experience in a client accounting environment is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Shireburn Financial Manager will be considered an asset
  • Strong work ethic, versatility and flexibility
  • Administrative skills and great eye for detail
  • Ability to work on own initiatives and meet strict deadlines
  • English proficiency and knowledge in Italian language is a plus
