Job Overview
One of our clients, a leader in the automotive sector, is seeking to recruit an HR Manager on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
Process recruitment, terminations, transfers, promotions and existing employee changes;
Manage the interview process;
Responsible for recruitment;
Drafting of job descriptions for new positions in conjunction with line managers;
Prepare monthly payroll calculations;
Assist in employee onboarding and termination procedures;
Responsible for the administration of HR policies and programs;
Update and maintain various HR reports and employee information for payroll, benefits and employee files;
Collaborate on and follow company policies, practices and procedures to maintain internal controls;
Advise the Management Team on all people and HR issues;
Plan and conduct new employee orientation sessions
Familiarise with local law related to employment, JobsPlus forms, ID Malta and other related parties.
Organise staff events, one to one meetings and employee of the quarter / year
Organise training and keep record of all training given
Requirements:
Knowledge and vast experience in Maltese Employment Law & Regulations is a must
3+ years previous experience in a similar role
Excellent communication in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Maltese would be an asset
Demonstrate problem solving and leadership ability;
Highly skilled in managing confidential issues with discretion.
