What is expected of you?
- Develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them
- Direct and oversee the hiring, training, and dismissal processes
- Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
- Conduct performance reviews
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees and assess training needs
- Monitor HR department’s budget
- Manage employees’ grievances
- Measure employee retention and turnover rates
- Oversee daily operations of the HR department
- Oversee any outsourced work related to HR that the group might get engaged with
- Perform other relevant duties when required
What are you expected to bring?
- Strong HR and recruitment experience with a solid knowledge of employment law
- Ability to undertake HR practices and procedures independently
- Ability to build strong relationships both internal and external
- Be able to deal with data with confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent communication skills coupled with strong leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Natural problem solver, solutions-driven and be creative
- Detail oriented
