Job Overview

Do you enjoy being hands on with the manufacturing of consumer items? A large food manufacturing organisation is looking for a General Operator. If you believe you have what it takes, Ceek would love to hear from you.

 

What is expected of you?

  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Operating secondary equipment and machinery responsibly
  • Cleaning of secondary equipment and machinery used
  • Taking responsibility for the proper and hygienic handling of all products
  • Minimising all losses by diligently following all set procedures
  • Proposing suggestions to improve the departments’ performance and cost efficiency
  • Conducting any other duties as requested by superior

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Be a team player
  • Have literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to communicate well in English
  • Willing to work overtime, flexible hours or on shift basis depending on operation requirements
  • Possess or willing to obtain Food Handlers Certificate License B
  • Secondary school level of education, ‘O’ level passes would be an asset.
  • Familiar with computers including Microsoft Office tools
  • Previous experience in the food industry or in the catering sector or in any other manufacturing sector would be an asset.
