What is expected of you?

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts
  • Liaise with Internal and External Auditors for the implementation of audit recommendations and the annual statutory audit
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
  • Handle VAT and Income tax returns
  • Ensure that the accounting records are accurate
  • Implementation and maintenance of a new accounting system/software
  • Support the CFO in other tasks related to the day-to-day management of the Finance function

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Be a fully qualified Accountant with experience in Malta
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a credit or financial institution
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • The ability to work efficiently within a team as well as individually
