Our esteemed corporate service provider client is seeking a dedicated and driven Corporate Lawyer to join their team. If you are passionate about law and eager to develop your career within a boutique firm, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities:

Assisting clients in planning and executing corporate restructuring exercises.
Providing expert advice on Memorandum and Articles of Association, as well as other corporate documents and resolutions for multiple clients.
Supporting the liquidation process of client companies and offering guidance throughout.
Assisting with succession planning and delivering relevant tax advice.
Offering tax and corporate advice for cross-border corporate restructuring exercises.
Collaborating with clients’ service providers, regulatory authorities, and internal departments to handle corporate matters effectively.
Staying up to date with legislative changes, particularly in corporate and commercial laws, ensuring compliance obligations are met.
Requirements:

University degree in law and a valid practicing warrant in Malta.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role post-graduation.
Excellent written and spoken English and Maltese.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in corporate, commercial, financial services, and tax practice areas preferred.
Familiarity with statutory documents required under the Companies Act for corporate restructuring and ongoing obligations.
Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
