Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire application life cycle, with a primary focus on coding and debugging.
  • Build and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of the applications.
  • Develop reusable code and libraries for future use, promoting efficiency and scalability.
  • Document solutions clearly and effectively for all stakeholders.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with other team members to establish objectives and design functional requirements.

Requirements:

  • A University Degree in IT or related professional qualifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience with proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as C/C++, Lua, Ruby, SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Good understanding of software development life-cycle processes.
  • Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably ScyllaDB and/or Cassandra.
  • Familiarity with programming best practices is advantageous.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
  • Interest in learning about the payments industry and exploring new industry trends.
