Our company established in 1865 is one of Malta’s major players in the importation and distribution sector and also has an interest in the retail trade. The brands we market include Ferrero, Lavazza, Bacardi, Dewar’s and Martini. We also operate retail stores under Solaris, Coccinelle and Haagen Dazs brands.
We are looking for a motivated and responsible Storekeeper. This position calls for an experienced, organised and hardworking individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A person who will be a team player with fluency in the English language.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Organising and managing incoming supplies – keeping tally, proper stacking and organising products in the warehouse.
- Keeping records and managing all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
- Inform warehouse management of any discrepancies in incoming goods.
- Conduct weekly stock-taking exercises.
- Ensuring that the store is always maintained up to date in all respects and is always clean and organised.
- Supervise and prepare daily work for pickers and assistants.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Fork lifter license.
- Valid working permit.
- Previous experience will be considered an asset.
- Written and spoken knowledge in English. Maltese language will be considered an asset, but not required.
