Job Description

One of our clients, who is a leading corporate firm in Malta is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. If you are up to a new challenge, we at Ceek would love to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

  • Arrange and provide payroll services, consultancy, as well as secretarial services to clients as required
  • Train and assist junior staff
  • Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and analyse variances and other ratios where needed
  • Assist in other ad-hoc tasks

What are you expected to bring?

  • University degree in Accounting
  • ACCA or ACA qualification
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar field
  • Be a good team player and understand the necessity of keeping up within a fast-paced work environment and have a dedicated, results-oriented, positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken Maltese and English; Italian is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of SAGE accounting software, payroll processing functions and procedures
