Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an HR Manager on behalf of a renowned client within the Automotive industry. If you are looking for a new challenge, we at Ceek would like to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

  • Process new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions and existing employee changes
  • Responsible for recruitment and manage the interview process
  • Draft job descriptions for new positions in conjunction with line managers
  • Prepare monthly payroll calculations
  • Assist in employee onboarding and termination procedures
  • Handle the administration of HR policies and programs
  • Update and maintain various HR reports and employee information for payroll, benefits and employee files
  • Collaborate on and follow company policies, practices and procedures to maintain internal controls
  • Guide and advise the Management Team on all people and HR issues
  • Plan and conduct orientation sessions for new employees
  • Keep up to date with local law related to employment and other related parties
  • Organise staff events, one to one meetings and employee of the quarter / year
  • Work on other admin duties

What are you expected to bring?

  • Experience in Maltese employment law is a must
  • At least 3 years working experience in a similar position
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly skilled to manage confidential issues with discretion
