The Xara Collection is looking for a passionate Commis Chef to be part of our Kitchen family.

The group’s diversified portfolio comprises of the award-winning fine dining de Mondion perched on Mdina’s bastions, the cosy al fresco Trattoria located in the palace’s courtyard but as well, catering services and hr Xara Lodge, an events centre just outside Mdina.

The common thread: we pride ourselves in featuring a cuisine that is second to none and focuses not only on the quality of its dishes but as well on innovation and experience.

A Commis Chef is an amazing opportunity to learn and develop your knowledge and skills within all sections of a Kitchen.

You will work closely with a team of inspired professionals who encourage and invite your contributions.

Our Commis Chef prepares, produces and presents memorable meals for our guests, applying their energy and enthusiasm to every task, aiming to exceed our guest’s needs and expectations on a daily basis.

About you…

  • As our ideal candidate, you will have a passion for hospitality and attention to detail
  • You will have a minimum of one year Culinary experience
  • A good understanding and practical knowledge of cooking
  • Commitment to team work and good communicational skills
  • An energy and enthusiasm for learning and developing
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment
