  • Drive the technology function of the company, both strategically and commercially
  • Lead a talented team that is accustomed to tight deadlines – you’ll nurture and guide their professional and technical development, both locally and overseas
  • Ensure that the company is ahead of the technology that is already on the market in a way that champions the disruptive nature of the brand
  • Be methodical in your approach, supportive with your team, and drive exemplary behaviour
  • Provide feedback to your team in a way that helps them improve continuously and deliver feedback to the board on the status of all technology projects
  • Own your team’s deliverables so that the company continues to deliver products that give employees and clients unprecedented convenience and ease of use
  • Grow your team strategically, adding the talent that will help the company compete across multiple markets

What are you expected to bring?

  • Post-tertiary education in a technology subject area
  • Thorough practical experience in CRM (Dynamic 365, Engage), Database (Postgres), and Security
  • Experience with tech stack: Java spring-boot based micro-service backend, angular micro-frontends, native ios/android mobile apps developed in Kotlin and Swift
  • Deeply familiar with modern cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, etc. and modern agile development practices, including DevOps
  • Familiarity with and understanding of the IT industry and the role of the CTO (including digital transformation, executive management, change management, cybersecurity, business model innovation, automation and intelligent systems, and trends, use of metrics, etc.)
  • Experience leading diverse teams (Development, DevOps, QA, Infrastructure), including the use of third-party resources
  • Exposure to the mobility industry – be it ride-hailing, delivery services, 3/4PL, etc
  • Experience with big data and machine learning/AI
